Obi Caleb Uchechukwu, originating from Ogbunka in the Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, currently serves as the Secretary of the Anambra State Association in Finland and the Publicity Secretary of the Anambra State Association in Europe. He has been instrumental in founding and spearheading several significant projects within Finland, aimed at celebrating and promoting African culture and achievements. Among his notable initiatives are the Miss Afro Diaspora Finland, a beauty pageant designed to empower young black women, and the Top 10 Most Influential African Women Awards, held in conjunction with International Women's Day. Additionally, he has organized the Top 10 Most Influential African Men Awards to coincide with International Men's Day, as well as the African Jollof Rice Competition and the Finland Afro Diaspora Awards (FADA), events that celebrate African culinary art and outstanding contributions to the diaspora community, respectively. This year alone, Obi Caleb Uchechukwu has successfully executed six major events, significantly enriching the cultural landscape for the African diaspora in Finland.
