Mr. Edwin Nzewi, hailing from Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria, holds the distinguished honor of being the founding chairman of the Anambra State Association (ASA) Finland. As a visionary leader, he was instrumental in the initial planning and establishment of the organization alongside fellow pioneering members. His leadership journey within the Igbo community in Finland also includes serving as the vice chairman of the Igbo Union Finland. Mr. Nzewi dedicated seven years to guiding ASA Finland with a steadfast commitment, ensuring the organization's continuous operation and growth. His tenure was marked by dedication and effective leadership, culminating in a democratic transition that saw Engr. Anthony-Claret Onwutalobi succeeding him as president.
